Hella H4 Headlights

I had purchased a pair of H4 headlights, which came in with Capri adjusters and back bowl, but did not have a hole for the side holder, so I assume they must have come off a Hillman hunter etc. that has separate side lights.
As these H4 headlights are quite hard to get hold of I decided to drill a hole for the side light.

Drilling Hella H4 Headlights

I marked out the center line of the lamp and drilled a hole below the H4 bulb holder, I started with a pilot drill then used a step drill to the correct size, finishing off with some clear lacquer on the edge where it had been drilled to prevent corrosion.
